Dear Brentwood Science Magnet (BSM) Families,

We are glad that you have chosen BSM for your child(ren). We welcome you to our BSM family. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Mi Mi Lundin, the new Booster Club President. If there is any way, I can be of service to you; please contact me via email at: lundinmimi@yahoo.com.

I would like to thank Michelle Goldstein, and Stacey Ingber for volunteering and serving the BSM Family as Co-Presidents. As our children forge ahead to graduation and onto Middle school, it is imperative that new parents come aboard and help.

I am very excited as we venture together into the 2008-2009 school year. This year, I would like our campaign theme to be “Make a Difference”. You can make a tremendous difference in simple ways. Even a small amount of your time makes a huge difference to our children. The Booster Club is an essential part of the school. We provide the Art & Music program, supplement the Science Labs, and much... much... more. At the Booster Club, we work hard to meet our goals in a fun environment. As you are thinking about your part, whatever it may be, please consider any of the choices listed below. I am appealing to all parents to roll up their sleeves and put all hands on deck. We want to make a difference in the 2008-2009 school year by coordinating our many talents and creativity.

Opportunity is knocking! Will you open your heart and make a difference? I invite all parents to attend our next Booster Club meeting on 10-16-08/7PM in the library. Come join our Booster Club family and the new Principal, Jeanne Malia. We'll see you there!

Mi Mi Lundin
President, Booster Club
